Frozen Crawfish Boil

"Hi -
I was wondering if it is ok to use frozen crawfish for a boil? I'm in Missouri and a cousin from Arkansas gave us bags of frozen crawfish. I know it probably won't be as good as live, but was wondering if it will still be ok, and if you have any tips on using frozen vs. live. Any help for this Iowa/Missouri/Wanna be Cajun girl would be much appreciated."
The Crawfish Boil Answer:
Are the crawfish already shelled and in sealed vacuum pack plastic bags?
If so, they are good for ettoufee, roux, sauces, jambalaya or soup. There are some recepies on this site
www.shrimpboil.com.
If they are still in their shells, then you can boil them (see
how to boil crawfish at
www.crawfishboil.com/crawfishboil.cfm).
In any case, make sure they are not spoiled.
